The New York Corporate Finance Group has multiple positions available for fourth to fifth years to represent sophisticated private equity financial sponsors and portfolio companies in 144A high yield debt offerings, IPOs and other capital markets transactions as well as leveraged buyout-related financings, including senior secured bank financings, high yield bridge financings and mezzanine financings.  Must have some capital markets and/or finance experience, but not necessarily all types of transactions. Experience with periodic reporting requirements under the 1934 Act also helpful. Individual must be able to work in a team but also handle significant responsibility. Major firm experience required.

The New York M&A Group has multiple positions available, primarily for associates in class years 2001 through 2004, to represent clients in domestic and international private equity and M&A transactions, which will involve acquisitions, divestitures, financings and strategic investments. Candidates should have a strong general corporate background, including solid experience in drafting and reviewing sophisticated corporate documentation, as well as a working knowledge of market terms for corporate transactions. In addition, they should have experience in coordinating the due diligence process for corporate transactions. Candidates should be able to work in a team, but also be able to handle significant individual responsibilities. Clients would include private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, as well as major corporations, and there would be significant client contact. Major firm experience is preferred but not necessary.

The Tokyo Transactions Practice is looking for Japanese bengoshi to join the Tokyo office. We need both junior-mid level and mid-senior level associates. At the mid-senior level, individuals who have obtained an LLM degree or have other international experience are of particular interest. We seek individuals who have significant experience in M&A, corporate and/or finance practices. IP transactions and litigation experience may also be of interest.

The Tokyo Transactions Practice is looking for mid-level associates admitted in a US jurisdiction to join our Tokyo office. The ideal candidate must have strong transactional backgrounds and Japanese language skills.
