Chris Campbell
Counsel
Christopher Campbell is a counsel in O’Melveny’s Century City office and a member of the Firm’s Tax Practice. Chris focuses on state and local taxes, and federal and state tax controversy representations. He has experience handling audits, appeals, and refund litigation in connection with federal income and employment taxes, state franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, and property taxes. He also provides state and local tax advice to clients involved in mergers and acquisition transactions, and to clients beginning to do business or expanding their business into new states (including via the Internet) where nexus is a concern. Chris also has substantial experience with the taxation of partnerships; corporate tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions; and tax matters relevant to financially-troubled companies, including those in bankruptcy.
