David Murphy is a partner in O’Melveny’s Newport Beach office.  He is also a member of the Patent and Technology Litigation and Patent and Trademark Prosecution Subpractices.  David’s practice focuses on all aspects of patent and technology law, including patent litigation, licensing, portfolio management, and prosecution, focusing on post-grant reviews and oppositions.  He has particular experience in the electronics and life sciences industries, and has worked with diverse technologies ranging from semiconductor devices and processing equipment, and communications technologies, to pharmaceuticals, biological microarrays and gaming technologies.
