Justin Stock is a partner in O'Melveny's London office and a member of the Transactions Department. Justin focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity.
Justin has advised on public and private mergers and cross-border disposals and acquisitions, private equity transactions, securities transactions, corporate reorganisations and general corporate work.
Notable transactions:
- floatation of large multinational brewery on the London Stock Exchange
- disposal by a large UK bank of its credit card business to a large US bank
- US$2.5 billion rights issue by multinational insurance company based in Switzerland
- acquisition by The London Stock Exchange Plc of a Swedish derivatives business
- disposal of a UK asset management operation to a US financial conglomerate
- acted for global private equity investor in auction bid for certain gas distribution networks
- assisted The London Stock Exchange Plc in relation to takeover proposals by various exchanges
- acquisition by international mining house of a significant stake in a large Canadian copper and nickel company
- acted for a consortium of global private equity investors in bid for Shell's liquid petroleum gas operations
- acted for a large UK gaming and leisure company in sale of its film operations to a US private equity investor
- acted for a global catering supply company in sale of its travel concessions catering operations to two private equity investors.
