Tristan Morales

Associate

Tristan Morales is an associate in O'Melveny's Washington, DC office. He counsels domestic and international clients on regulatory and public policy issues.

On the international front, Tristan has worked on a variety of investment regulatory matters, including transaction reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the Defense Security Service. He has focused on guiding Chinese clients through the U.S. investment environment as they invest in American businesses. Tristan has also helped clients address Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) matters arising from transactions in Asia and Africa.

Tristan has worked with a number of companies to identify both best practices for regulatory compliance and opportunities for business innovation created by policy reforms in areas like health care and agriculture. He has also worked with companies to ensure that their internal crisis management policies reflect best practices.
