Eric R. Reimer is a partner in O'Melveny's New York and Los Angeles offices and Chair of the Corporate Finance Practice. Eric represents private equity firms, hedge funds, borrowers, issuers and lenders in acquisitions, credit facilities, front-end lending transactions, mezzanine facilities, bridge facilities, acquisition facilities, debt issuances and restructurings, including the financing of debtors in bankruptcy, ranging from investment grade syndicated financings to middle market assets based facilities, 144A offerings, private bank, high net worth individual financings, leveraged leases and project financings, with particular experience in M&A, private equity, health care, education, technology, retail, equipment and transportation. He also represents opportunity and investment funds in the acquisition and restructuring of debt and credit facilities and the ongoing general representation of portfolio companies of such funds.

- Represented an international energy company in its US$1.5 billion project financing of an LNG terminal and pipeline
- Represented a global investment management corporation in connection with: the extension of debt facilities for its principal opportunity funds (both domestic, Asian and European), a multi-hundred million dollar liquidity line for a new principal fund and related parallel fund, the restructuring of its portfolio companies, and its acquisition financing of an international freight carrier
- Represented bank group as second lien lenders in connection with a US$145 million debtor-in-possession financing and a US$160 million Chapter 11 exit financing for a major bus manufacturer
- Represented a private equity firm in debt financings for portfolio companies and exits, including helping to secure over US$500 million in acquisition financing in multiple exit transactions, subordinated debt investments and senior secured loans
- Represented a private equity firm in numerous debt financings for acquisitions in the technology sector
- Represented a private equity firm in numerous debt financings for portfolio companies in the education sector
- Represented a cigarette manufacturer in the sale of US$85 million of newly issued senior secured notes, the offering of US$165 million of newly issued senior secured notes, and a US$50 million secured credit facility
- Represented a leading marketing services company in the US$1.4 billion financing of its acquisition of a competitor, which was composed of an US$870 million bank facility and a US$540 million bond offering
- Represented the nation's largest supplier of building materials in the US$900 million financing of the assets of a lumber and building material retailer
- Represented two building materials suppliers and their subsidiaries in a US$1.3 billion secured financing
- Represented a leading private equity firm in the financings of two healthcare companies
- Represented a global commercial finance company with respect to: its US$35 million acquisition financing of a retail clothier, a potential multi-hundred million acquisition financing facility, and its US$415 million financing of a medical device manufacturer
- Represented a hotel and casino in the restructuring of US$230 million of secured debt
